Chin-ups
Written by jzh898 on April 22, 2009 – 1:41 pm -Well I did my first chin-ups yesterday. I have never really attempted to do them so I suprised myself. I did 2 sets of 3 on the third set I only managed 2 but I will take it. So now I will begin to work on improving on them. I will work towards doing pull-ups once I get the chin-ups to a level where I am comfortable with them.
Working on chin-ups and pull-ups will help me with my adventure into rock climbing. Everytime I ready something on rock climbing I get excited and can’t wait to get going. The effort will be worth the reward.
On my way!

Great job on the chinups! If you work on them, you will get better quickly. I did a good amount of rock climbing in highschool. My buddies were into it. It is a lot of fun and a great workout.
Great Job!

Congrats on the chin-ups. Read an article - may have been in MH - no significant difference in muscle development between chin ups and pull ups. Pull ups put more pressure on the shoulder joint - that is the reason I avoid them - shoulder is not my best feature.
Rock Climbing - you are on your way - great work.

Thanks for the support I really appreciate it. TNT Man I have a bad shoulder so I think I will stick with chin-ups no need to mess up the shoulder any.
Thanks
